Michelle Johnston joins Bailey Education Group as the new English Learner Content Manager.


We are happy to announce Michelle Johnston as our new English Learner Content Manager.

Michelle has a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Foreign Language and Literature with an emphasis in Spanish and a master's degree from Capella University in Educational Leadership. Michelle retired from education after 29 years with the Harrison County School District. During her career, she spent 21 years as a high school Spanish teacher, 3 years as an Instructional Literacy Coach, and 5 years as the District EL Specialist. Michelle is happily married to her husband Frank. They have one son, Trey, who is a Freshman at the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in Audio Production and minoring in Spanish.


Michelle is so excited to serve our partner districts, EL Instructional Coaches, and EL students. Michelle believes that equipping teachers and coaches with creative strategies linked to language acquisition is essential to the success of all.


We are so excited to see Michelle achieve wonderful things in her new role as our English Learner Content Manager. Join us in congratulating her!
