Gary Bailey – President

Gary, trained as an architect who specializes in designing schools, has spent his career serving public education.  He has been an adjunct professor of Architecture and has also taught at the doctorate level in Educational Leadership at Mississippi State University.  Bailey is also the owner of Bailey Architecture Education, PA.

 

Chuck Poer – Vice President Quality Assurance/Development

Mr. Poer has 26 years of experience as a classroom teacher, coach, and principal (K-12) and 8 years as an educational consultant. He served as principal of New Albany Elementary School where he guided his school from an achievement level “3” to an achievement level “5” over a two year period and was named Mississippi Administrator of the Year [2007] by the Mississippi Department of Education. Mr. Poer has received national recognition for his leadership skills and his extensive knowledge of the new College and Career-Ready Standards, teacher effectiveness, student assessment, and data driven decision making.

Cellie ScogginVice President Educational Services

Cellie is a former elementary and middle school teacher. She served as an elementary principal prior to joining the Bailey Educational Group team in 2008 where she is currently Director of Educational Services.  Mrs. Scoggin coaches teachers and administrators in districts across Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Missouri.

Pat is a former MS Department of Education (MDE) Deputy State Superintendent. Pat has worked as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in our Mississippi Public Schools. Among other responsibilities at the MDE, Mr. Ross was responsible for designing and implementing Mississippi’s first Superintendents Academy and subsequent Principals Academy.
