Chris Bates

Christopher (Chris)  retired in June 2016 with 35 years’ experience in education. Chris served as a Classroom Teacher for 17 years, Assistant Principal for 4 years, and Head Principal for 14 years. Working with Bailey Education Group as a Leadership Coach since retirement, Chris provides training for Administrators to enhance their abilities to lead using strategies from his many years of experience. Chris uses Water the Bamboo, by Greg Bell, as a guide to lead the initial discussion as he tailors the training to the needs of the Administrator and school. Chris is certified in Social Studies, Special Education, and Educational Leadership.

Bobbi Burdett

Bobbi’s areas of expertise in coaching for Bailey are ELA Coaching and Leadership Coaching.  Curriculum Development Projects include Developed Reading Fluency Plans K-4th grade; Developed differentiated K-5th grade ELA lessons aligned with priority standards; Developed lessons; Developed writing prompts aligned with core reading basal anchor texts 1st and 2nd grades for a complete year.  She has degrees and credentials in AA Southwest MS Community College, BA Southeastern Louisiana University, MEd in School Psychometry from Mississippi College, MEd in School Guidance and Counseling from Mississippi College, MAPQSL MDE Administrator Licensure, National Board Certifications – National Certified School Counselor; National Certified Counselor and MDE License Endorsements: 116, 117, 171, 192, 213, 314, 436, and 486.

Kelly Earls

Kelly is a former elementary and middle school teacher and middle school and elementary principal serving in K-2, K-6, K-8, and K-12 settings. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in elementary education and a Specialist degree in Educational Administration. She is currently serves as a head coach, instructional specialist, leadership coach, and data coach, with Bailey Education Group working in school districts across the states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.

Dennis Haslip

Jamie Loper

Jamie is a retired educator with twenty-eight years of experience. Fourteen of those years she has served as the principal of a Level A elementary school. Prior to this she worked for six years as an assistant principal in elementary and middle schools. She has also taught biology, chemistry other high school science courses. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership. Prior to joining Bailey group she utilized and received training in NWEA MAP, STAR, MS Teacher Growth Model, and data analysis. After joining the Bailey Group in 2018, she has developed and implemented training for teachers and administrators in the MS CCRS for Science. She has also worked with districts in developing district and school BEG curriculum maps for science along with pacing guides and units of instruction in science k-12.

Chuck Poer

Chuck has 26 years of experience as a classroom teacher, coach, and principal (K-12) and 8 years as an educational consultant. He served as principal of New Albany Elementary School where he guided his school from an achievement level “3” to an achievement level “5” over a two year period and was named Mississippi Administrator of the Year [2007] by the Mississippi Department of Education. Mr. Poer has received national recognition for his leadership skills and his extensive knowledge of the new College and Career-Ready Standards, teacher effectiveness, student assessment, and data driven decision making.

Cellie Scoggin

Cellie is a former elementary and middle school teacher. She served as an elementary principal prior to joining the Bailey Educational Group team in 2008 where she is currently Director of Educational Services.  Mrs. Scoggin coaches teachers and administrators in districts across Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Missouri.
